Ypsilon Éditeur was founded in September 2007 out of a desire to publish *Un coup de Dés* based on the proofs corrected by Mallarmé for the edition that was to be published by Ambroise Vollard (the choice of format and typeface had already been decided, as had the illustrations by Odilon Redon) and out of a useful folly: that of producing the first Arabic translation of this poem.

L'Arche is a French publishing house founded in 1949 by Robert Voisin. Its early publications sought to make fields that were at the time largely reserved for specialists—such as psychoanalysis, philosophy, and aesthetics—accessible to a broad audience.

The publishing house quickly turned its attention to theater by launching a series that cataloged the plays performed at Jean Vilar’s TNP, as well as the famous journal *Théâtre Populaire*; in 1954, L’Arche reached an agreement with Bertolt Brecht to publish his works in French.

Les Éditions du communs is an independent cooperative publishing house founded in 2015 and based in Rennes, France. It publishes essays, non-fiction, collective narratives, and textbooks focused on social, political, and environmental struggles and issues.

L'Arbre de Diane explores literature in all its forms—written, audio, and multimedia—and examines its connections with other disciplines.

Isabella Checcaglini

Born in 1975 in Foligno, Italy, Isabella Checcaglini moved to Paris in 1994. While completing her doctoral thesis on the work of Mallarmé at Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis, she founded Ypsilon Éditeur as a way to pursue literary research through other means.

Claire Stavaux

Born in 1984 in Marseille. She has been passionate about theater since a very young age, having first discovered it on the streets of Avignon, where she spent her teenage years. This passion blossomed in Berlin, where she learned German on stage. Later, after earning her agrégation in German, she taught dramaturgy and the history of classical and contemporary German theater at Paris 3 at the undergraduate level, as part of a dissertation on contemporary German theater and, more specifically, on “dramatic speech in all its forms” in the works of Roland Schimmelpfennig. She has also been a literary translator for the past three years, having translated works by the young Austrian author Clemens Setz, *Love in the Time of the Child from Mahlstadt* (2012) and *The Indigo Syndrome* (June 2014), published by Éditions Jacqueline Chambon, as well as the subtitles for DVDs of Pina Bausch’s performances (*Walzer*, *Ahnen Ahnen*, *Rehearsals for The Rite*) for L’Arche. Since January 2015, she has served as an editor at L’Arche Editeur.

Juliette Rousseau

After studying sociology, Juliette Rousseau worked for the organization Attac and then for other organizations in the anti-globalization movement. She helped organize political events such as the “People’s Summit” in Rio de Janeiro in 2012. In 2014, she became the coordinator and spokesperson for “Coalition Climat 21,” the civil society platform for COP 21 in Paris. After COP 21, she moved to the ZAD in Notre-Dame-des-Landes with a group of friends. She writes for various independent media outlets and magazines such as Basta, Socialter, La Déferlante, Médiapart, Mouvements, and Ballast. She currently works for Éditions du Commun, where she directs the poetry collection. She coordinates and edits anthologies such as *Voici mon cœur, brise-le avec un marteau* (2024). A writer committed to left-wing causes, she lives south of Rennes.

Mélanie Godin

Delicate yet strong, Mélanie Godin has driven and expanded the Midis poésie project for several years. She is an editor at L’Arbre de Diane, co-director of Maison poème, an archivist of beautiful spoken texts (Sonalitté), and a literature teacher at the 75.
