School program

At the Poetik Bazar on Friday, September 18, 2026, more than 500 students will visit the book fair to explore books and meet publishers, and will participate in workshops, performances, concerts, and more.

We want to show that poetry, with its heritage from the past, is alive, breathing, and engaged in the world today.

Children discover contemporary poets such as Nour Symon, Badi, Louise Dupré, Elissa Kayal, and Agojie & Léonie, who address current and universal themes: love, joy, identity, exile, family, and more. Through playful and creative workshops, performances, and group discussions, they explore their own voices, (re)learn other ways to express their emotions, and learn to see the world from a different perspective.

We believe that poetry gives form to the invisible, makes the inexpressible more accessible, and empowers children to gain confidence in themselves as active participants in their own stories and in society.
