What is shaking the world today? Between social divisions, ecological crises, struggles for justice, the development of artificial intelligence, and the search for meaning, literature and poetry remain precious spaces for naming the unspeakable, unfolding contradictions, and imagining possible futures. This reading event, entitled "Le tremblement du monde" brings together four authors whose intimate yet universal texts explore the tensions and hopes that run through our societies.

Hashemi lanniversaire

Roxana Hashemi, in her constrictions, her obviousness and her strangeness, speaks of nature and humanity, the ordinary, its linings, its folds, its details, in lines which, as the pages turn (her words, her white spaces, her parts), gain amplitude, rise, ascend and transfigure her subjects.

1 kilo plumes 1 kilo de plomb

About 1 kilo de plumes, 1 kilo de plomb, of Gabriel René Franjou, Editions LansKine

Preoccupied by the futures generated from the data he emits, a narrator addresses the federal agent assigned to monitor him. Indexed memories populated by angels and cyborgs, traces and conspiracies of a forgotten empire, late-night alchemy videos, anonymous and oceanic voices from the platforms—the content of a multitude of open tabs, rich in information, composes a "scroll of consciousness" where poetry and technology are two interfaces of the same magic: language. As the screen mirrors consciousness and absorbs the dream, the desire to go and touch grass reappears.

Bris de vers

Asma Soulista writes about the world through committed, sensitive, and multilingual texts that she sings and recites as poetic journeys and experiments. A feminist, anti-racist, and anti-capitalist activist, she approaches art as a weapon of civic expression and individual and collective awareness.

About Là où chante l’orage, of Alexandre Lecoultre, éditions art&fiction

Ordinary people, trapped in the daily grind, overwhelmed by the world's ceaseless turmoil. At the heart of these lives, seemingly silenced, voices nevertheless find their way through. They recount the power of dreams, the brutality of the working world, grief, and voices on the phone that belong to no one. A voice is liberated, powerful and vulnerable at once.

Throughout the text, through echoes and silences, something profound is revealed, partially unraveled, and partially mended—a tapestry of images through which Alexandre Lecoultre simultaneously intuits, unveils, and warms our solitude.
