Born in 1996 in Montreal, Juliette Langevin likes to shout, take notes, and watch people go through small catastrophes. Under the pseudonym Nina Shulman, they have published several zines. Fille méchante, their first collection, won the Prix des libraires in 2024.

Since the age of 19, they have worked as a sex worker, first online and later in person. Their practice, and the sources from which they draw inspiration, are deeply rooted in lived experience. They write from massage parlors, strip-club dressing rooms, laundromats in the St-Michel neighborhood, and bar restrooms: places where one would not expect poetry to emerge. The result is a language that mirrors these spaces—sincere, raw, violent, and familiar.
