Camille has trouble waking up, and her days all blend together. We’ll write based on what we repeat—in our days, in our lives, in our conversations—on what weighs us down and what stays with us. We’ll explore the circular patterns that writing can take, and work on this back-and-forth rhythm, which is the same but not quite. We’ll write based on certain passages from the book, on sentences, on mountains, on sails.

A collection of poetry by Marie Meuleman that will resonate with (pre-)teens, caught up in the rhythms of school life that sometimes run counter to their needs and feelings.
A subtle dialogue unfolds between text and image, woven from layers, sedimentation, and a thousand and one nuances.
Next to the text, Matthieu Litt’s photographs explore our relationship with the world, highlighting the complexity and fragility of our environment through poetic effects such as palimpsest, overexposure, and variations in scale.

Our speakers
Marie Meuleman
Marie Meuleman studied language and literature in Brussels and Montreal, where she developed a passion for writing and creating in a multidisciplinary and collaborative way. In 2021, she co-founded the writing collective and nonprofit organization modesta, which aims to make writing less solitary and poetry a little more fun. She publishes her narrative and poetic works in fanzines and magazines such as Mouche, Papier Machine, Cunnilingus, and Absys. In 2025, she illustrated a text by Françoise Lison-Leroy with her photographs for *Le Livre en fugue*, published by Éditions Cotcotcot. Her first book as an author, *Camille se réveille*, was published in 2026.
