TO DISCOVER AN EXTRACT OF RIM BATTAL'S TEXTS:

J'ai embrassé un crapaud
Il s'est transformé en bœuf
Je l'ai embrassé encore
Et il m'a pondu un œuf
De l'œuf est sortie
Une dinde dodue qui m'a dit
« Salut !
Qu'as-tu ?
As-tu perdu la langue ?
L'as-tu donnée au chat ? »
J'ai haussé les épaules
Sous ma tête qui tangue
Pas un mot n'est sorti
Ma langue est bien partie
Faire le tour du monde

« Peu pour moi le laid crapaud !
J'en ai assez de ce rôle !
Moi, j'aimerais voir du pays.
Écrire ma poésie
Et non pas me taire
Sourire comme la Joconde »
Voilà ce qu'a dit ma langue
Dans sa propre langue
Alors je l'ai suivie
Mon sac sur le dos
À pied ou à vélo
Rabat puis Nairobi
Marseille et Bornéo
En passant par Paris
On va croquer la vie
