“Throughout this workshop, I invite you to journey to the realm of the intimate through the (re)discovery of the art of letter writing. The goal is not to produce grandiloquent literary, stylistic, or poetic feats, but rather to access a deep and spontaneous self-expression through the letter format, with recipients evolving according to the prompts, and each time with very short writing periods. Why? To encourage instinctive writing that comes from the gut. The idea of this workshop is to awaken emotions in us that can be easily transcribed in writing, aiming to heal the small wounds of our inner self, all under a caring and validating gaze.”

Our speakers
Morgane Ortin
Morgane Ortin, a poet and advocate for intimacy, founded the "Amours solitaires" project to archive intimate messages written in French globally. Her bestselling book of the same name has been translated into seven languages. Ortin works to bring therapeutic writing and poetry to the forefront with an inclusive approach. Her latest poetry collection, La chambre sans murs, revisits the poetic genre.
