Poet, stage director, and writing workshop facilitator, Aurélien Dony is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of language. He multiplies poetic experiments with a single aim: to probe the potential of the poem. On stage, with Absolu Théâtre — which he co-directs with Charly Simon — he blends poetic text with dance and live music. In his writing, he explores, in various forms, the relationship to the body, to multiple forms of love, and to the intensity of being in the world.
He has published several poetry collections, including Amour Noir (maelstrÖm reEvolution, 2021) and Grammaire du vide (l’Arbre à paroles, 2023). Train-Nuit is his first narrative work, published in the iF collection by Abrapalabra.
