Dominique Maes is the author and illustrator of more than eighty children's books, a short story writer for adults, a clarinetist, and the creator of the Great Poetic Drugstore (an imaginary store in constant expansion). Above all, he is a storyteller who travels from drawing to words, from words to music, from music to performances, from performances to encounters, from encounters to books... to feel alive and to share that happiness.
