Soukaina Habiballah

Soukaïna Habiballah is a moroccan poet and novelist born in Casablanca in 1989.

She is the author of four collections of poetry:

Un quart de siècle de regard. Arab Scientific Publishers 2014 - Beirut
Il n'y a pas besoin de toi. The house of Poetry 2015 - Morocco
Cinq papillons sans aile. The Editions of Rawafid 2017 - Egypt
Plan B. Almutawassit Editions 2019 - Italy

She has received several awards, including the 2015 Buland Al Haidari Prize for Arabic Poetry and the 2019 Nadine Shams Prize for Arab Screenwriters for her short film Who Left the Door Open?

She is a two-time winner of the Creative Writing Fund AFAC.

Her poems have been translated into French, English, German and Spanish.
