Filip Rogiers (1966) lives and works in Brussels. His short story collection Nauwelijks lichaam (2011) was awarded the 2012 Debut Prize. His debut novel Verman je (2015) was nominated for the Bronze Owl and the Cutting Edge Award. In 2018, the novel Angel was published. For his journalistic work (DS Weekblad/De Standaard), he received the Dexia Press Prize in 2017. After thirty years in journalism, he started working as a teacher of Dutch and English at a Brussels athenaeum in 2023.
