Matthieu Corpataux was born in 1992 and lives in Fribourg. He writes, programs, edits, and shares texts in all their forms. A teaching assistant with a degree in French literature at the University of Fribourg, he launched L’Épître in 2013, a journal of emerging literary creation, both online and in print. In 2014, he co-founded the “Presses littéraires de Fribourg” with Lucas Giossi, which he has directed ever since. Alongside this, he is deeply involved in literary outreach—festivals, writing workshops, readings, and panel discussions—always with the aim of creating vibrant spaces for words. Since 2019, he has been the director of the "Salon du Livre Romand.
