Haleh Chinikar

« Haleh Chinikar, born in Iran and based in Brussels since 2007, is an artist and poet whose work explores the body, memory, and language through textile and movement. Her practice delves into displacement, the fluid concept of "home," and bodily resistance within collective memory. She calls this blend of words and gestures a "melting pot," inviting reflection and deep human engagement. In 2022, she co-founded M-A Collective, a group of Iranian women performance artists.
