Salomé Richard was born in 1987 in Brussels. After landing in cinema almost by chance, she turned to acting by joining the Kleine Academie under Luc Desmet, and later the Conservatoire de Mons - ARTS2 with Frédéric Dussenne. At the same time, she continued acting in various short films, including Pour toi je ferai bataille by Rachel Lang, for which she won the Best Actress Award at the Le court en dit long festival and the Vendôme Film Festival.
After graduating, she continued her collaboration with Rachel Lang and played the lead role in her debut feature film Baden Baden, for which she received the Best Actress Award at the Festival International du Film de Femmes de Salé and the Magritte for Best Promising Actress. She can also be seen in La part sauvage, the first feature film by Guérin van de Voorst, in Rêve de Jeunesse by Alain Raoust, and in the RTBF series Pandore, with its second season coming out in the fall.
At the same time, she ventured behind the camera with Septembre, her first short film, which won the Jury Prize at the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur and the CNC Quality Award. She then made La Grande Vacance and recently Amandine en Vrai, which won the Grand Prix National at the Brussels Short Film Festival.
She has also been seen on stage under the direction of Anne Thuot with Wild, Lorette Moreau with ({:})-imprononçable, and in various performances such as Café Micro-Onde and Glory Ongle with Charlotte Lippinois.
She is currently writing her first feature film.
