Camille Pier

Camille Pier was born in 1988 in Liège, Belgium. A multi-disciplinary artist, he sings, dances, draws and performs between underground scenes and cultural institutions. With a degree in Romance languages and literature from the University of Liège, he trained in physical theater at the Lassaâd school in Brussels. He has been an active member of the Belgian slam and queer cabaret scenes since 2012. With biologist Leo Palmeira, he co-wrote the show and book “La Nature contre-nature (tout contre)”, about animal sexual diversity. This project inspired the documentary “Queerying Nature”. Camille Pier is the author of two collections of poems and drawings: “Scandale !” (ed. L'arbre de Diane) and “feu l'amour !” (ed. maelstrÖm reEvolution).
